Cataract Surgery and the Correction of Astigmatism

In the past nearsightedness and farsightedness could be corrected with cataract surgery, but astigmatism could not. This left individuals with astigmatism depending on glasses to see clearly. Now with the astigmatism correcting intraocular lens, most individuals can achieve good vision without glasses following cataract surgery. If you have astigmatism and are dependent on glasses or contact lenses to see clearly, cataract surgery now offers a unique opportunity to reduce this dependence.

We invite you to find out more about Dr. Holland and the newest advances in cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation.

Our goal is to combine the latest technologies to provide our patients with the best surgical outcomes.
